ABOUT FIRST TECH CHALLENGE (FTC)
FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics competition for students, grades 7-12, that allows them to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Through the FIRST Tech Challenge program, students form robotics teams that will design, build, and program robots to complete specific tasks at league and regional competitions, with the potential of qualifying for the state tournament and the World Championship competition depending on performance. FTC prepares students to collaborate as team members while also nurturing leadership and problem-solving skills. More information about FIRST and FIRST Tech Challenge can be found at the FIRST website linked below.
