On February 9th we went to a local elementary to visit their robotics club as a part of our outreach

During this visit we gave them a demo of our robot (Bridget), told them a little bit about our team, the league, and FTC, and played a game where they pretended to code an autonomous robot.

To make the game interesting we created a course their "robot" needed to follow. Throughout certain spots in the course however there were distinct marks where the robot had to do a specific movement.

We gave the club members some time to write down their code and then blindfolded one our members to act as the robot.

The team with the best code won a prize 3D printed by one of our members.

We thought the visit was very successful as the kids enjoyed themselves and we were asked to return next year.

We're looking forward to returning and giving the presentation again to the kids at Northeast if we are approved.
