Texas UIL State Championship: The Stats

Wow! I still can't believe we made it to state competition in our rookie year! That is a crazy accomplishment for our team, and I can't wait to see what we do next season. Be sure to check out our previous blog post for a full run-down of what happened at UIL State Championship.

The following is a summary of our qualification match scores and alliance partners and the opposing alliance:

Our team finished 7th place among the qualification matches and advanced to semifinal and elimination matches. Our alliance partner for elimination matches was Team #15764, West Texas Robotics. We were the fourth seed alliance and competed against the first seed alliance (Team #6901, Droid Rage and Team #9778, Robotic Chinchillas). The following are the results from the semifinal matches:

Unfortunately we did not make it to the final matches, but the event was still a fun experience and we are all very proud of even making it to state-level competitions.

Congratulations to the team for placing 5th of 20 teams in the division! Congratulations to Droid Rage (Team #6901) for finishing as the captain of the winning alliance! Congratulations to all the other teams that were there as well for making it this far and competing in state competitions! Thank you to all the volunteers, coaches, and referees who made this event happen. Nobody could have done it without you!
