Week 1 of working on our robot is off to a great start. One of our team members is heading the build from his house because we are still not allowed to meet up in-person. So far, we have finished the basic framework for the drive train and intake ramp of the robot as well as a computer-aided design (CAD) for the ramp, drive train, shooter, and passive intake system. We have also been starting to 3D print some of the wheels we need for the intake, and the first set is already printed!

These pieces are done 3D printing including one set of the intake wheels.

The CAD of our intake, drive train, and shooter are close to being finished!

We are beginning to attach wheels and motors to the base of the drive train, but this is an ongoing process that will take a couple days. Keep checking our website for more blog posts and updates on our robot build and progress this season.

P.S. Our robot has a name! Everyone say hello to SPROCKET!!!
